This is a reminder to our previous post on the "Red Bull Art of Motion" event! So what is it? "Red Bull Art of Motion" is one of a kind competition involving free running (parkour) presented by Red Bull & Mini. Free running (also known as Parkour) is a very unique sport involving a huge amount of strength jumping from one platform to another, & this sport nowadays is considered an art form (remember the 1st scene in the 007 film "Casino Royale?"). The event has already started back in March in London & it was a huge success with five more destinations remaining. Kuwait happens to be one of the only 6 destinations to ever host such a competition! :) The Red Bull Art of Motion Final at Failaka Island, Kuwait, is the culmination of a groundbreaking project that has sought to capture the true essence of free-running. Taking place over 36 continuous hours and featuring four teams of the worlds' greatest free-runners, the Art of Motion Final takes the sport of free-running to the next level. The Athletes will not only be taking on one of the most unique courses in the world, but also be filming their entire journey and crafting films documenting their performance on the Island. The films will be screened and judged by a panel to determine who will walk away with the title. Get live, hour-by-hour, updates directly from each team by streaming HERE! According to BananaQ8, there will be a battle between Kuwaiti and international free runners on Saturday, November 12th. Also on Wednesday, November 16th there will be a spectacular acrobatic show at Failaka island. There will be screening for the whole event at Cinescape Laila theater on the 18th.
